DOG DAYS

The Fourth of July is over and I hope you all had as marvelous a holiday as I did.  Thanks for being so understanding about your favorite restaurant being closed for 2 days.  We certainly enjoyed the rest!  We're heading in to the dog days of summer now with heat and humidity building daily.    As an antidote to all that why don't you stop in for one of our fabulous lunches....maybe accompanied by one of our chilled soups.  This Wednesday, 7/12, we will be serving a delicate Avocado-Cucumber along with our "to-die-for" Egg Salad. SHANNON - HERE AND GONE

As many of you know, one of our very favorites was here for a few short weeks.  Shannon was home from her semester in Europe and her summer break from Loyola.  She helped us out tremendously and it was wonderful for her to see so many familiar faces.  She said she had a fantastic time and was so pleased that many asked about her school year.  Don't we just have the greatest customers?
